Our young dynamic team currently includes fifteen talented, motivated and qualified people. Benefiting from this amazing team, Smartflats work every day to guarantee a faultless service for its clients and a serene relationship with its partners.

Smartflats is a Belgian company founded in 2012. We are now Belgium’s largest apartment provider.

You will be dedicated to ensuring a pleasant and reliable guest experience by interacting with our guests through email, phone and social media. YOU WILL
  • Receive and welcome guests (through emails, calls and notes) and ensure smooth and dependable service
  • Assist guests before, during and after their stay
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of the apartments and services
  • Monitor guests reviews and follow up for maintaining and improving ratings
  • Take and manage reservations, and promote extra services
  • Liaise closely with the Housekeeping Team, and monitor special requests and needs
  • Coordinate with the Call Centre Team
  • Follow up on payments
  • Draft concise and clear notes for the Maintenance Team
  • Use reporting and monitoring tools with a view to improve operations efficiency
  • Ensure the telephone standby

 

WE OFFER
Part time contract
Start date: as soon as possible
You will be based in our offices in the Brussels city center, but going to Liege or Antwerp will be part of your job too! When not working with our young and cheerful team you can enjoy our nice terrace 😉

 

WE REQUIRE
  • Min. 3 years experience in the hotel industry
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Additional languages are a big plus

  • In charge of replying guests special requests regarding the billing process
  • Responsible for cash entries and operational cashiers
  • In charge of identifying new sources of revenue
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Helping with the monthly & quarterly closure
  • Supporting our dynamic team to ensure daily incomes
  • Reporting to the Revenue Manager and the Director of Operations
  • Doing a competitive analysis and following the market trends
  • Measuring the performance of our distribution partners: OTA, FIT, operator tours, companies, consortium, etc.

You have a client-oriented mindset, you preferably have experience or good knowledge of the hospitality sector. You’re dynamic, proactive and polyvalent. And most of all, you’re rigorous, organized and autonomous.

 

YOU WILL
  • Create listings online to market Smartflats
  • Ensure the good image of Smartflats on our different channels (web site, OTAs, Google Maps, etc)
  • Set-up automatic emailings for our guest before their stay, during their stay and after their stay
  • Answer our client’s reviews (via email or on our distribution channels)
  • Collect datas from different platforms to prepare the monthly Quality report
  • Assist during the shooting of the Smartflats and publish the photos on our different channels
  • Assist the Quality Manager in her daily tasks
  • Do any other task asked by the direction
  • Direct report: Quality Manager

Smartflats is a rapidly expanding company. Continually on the lookout for the best locations and the best apartment blocks, we are on a permanent quest to find what could become the next Smartflats.

Between now and 2020, Smartflats has the objective to develop in 7 towns (Brussels, Liege, Antwerp, Bruges, Gand, Louvain and the Belgian coast) in order to achieve a volume of 350 apartments situated in AAA locations.
